Reclamation Process Underway/Demolition Plan in Development

• The reclamation process is underway at the SPS Technologies site. Reclamation is removal of fastener products (both completed and in process) along with any equipment or other items that may be usable. Activity onsite, such as a new access point on the west side of the building, are related to this process. SPS is developing its plan for future demolition work at the site, and information will be shared to keep the community informed on the plan prior to beginning demolition.
• Air and water monitoring continues.  SPS has posted air and water monitoring reports to the Monitoring section. SPS still has 15 air monitors in place. Six monitors circle the plant itself; the remainder are placed in the surrounding communities. Air monitoring results remain stable, with no detections of chemicals or other parameters at levels of concern in the community.
• If you have debris in your yard or would like to be added to the list for roof and gutter inspection/cleaning, please submit a request with your contact information and address through the Contact section of SPSupdates.com.
