Post-Storm Clean Up Outreach
- Once the winds subside over the next day or so, please contact ContactSPS@pccairframe.com if you would like to request debris clean-up service for your property. Today, SPS continued to focus on residential property clean-up activities as well as along streets in the area. SPS continues to test representative samples of debris. Debris sampled to date has been confirmed to be non-asbestos containing materials.
- Air and water monitoring continues. SPS still has 15 air monitors in place. Six monitors circle the plant itself; the remainder are placed in the surrounding communities. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the Philadelphia Water Department has determined that drinking water supplies are fine to consume and air monitoring has shown no chemical detections that would represent a public health risk.
- For your safety, please remain outside the fenced area surrounding the property. Only authorized people should try to access the property/building. Thank you
