Firefighters Have Extinguished the Fires

• Firefighters have extinguished the fires at the SPS Technologies plant. We cannot overstate our gratitude to the fire department and the others onsite, who have worked tirelessly to manage the situation.
• SPS dispatched multiple trained crews to remove debris from schools and homeowners who requested this service.  They will continue to work with our neighbors on additional cleanup needs for the foreseeable future.  Please contact us at ContactSPS@pccairframe.com if you would like to request this service or have any questions. 
• We have tested a significant number of debris samples for asbestos and have had no findings.
• Air and water monitoring continue. To date, we have not identified any issues. SPS has 14 air monitors at varying distances surrounding the plant.
• Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro was onsite, assessing the situation and thanking first responders for their outstanding efforts.
